ISED:Discontinuing Workforce Navigation Program

Discontinuation of the Workforce Navigation Program:
    • Effective January 1, 2013, ISED Ventures discontinued our Workforce Navigator program. Several of our professional Job Development staff have transitioned to the Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families where they will offer the same hands-on client services, now with the resource support of the United Way, Des Moines Community Foundation, and DMACC.

ISED Ventures is proud to have participated in the founding and growth of Central Iowa Works, a collaboration of employers and Job Developers to guide prospective employees into career fields, which have the greatest promise for the future of Central Iowa. Over the past 5 years we have helped over 500 people, in the writing of résumés, and individually coached hundreds more.

We thank Elia Cardenas, Ray Lewis, Jennie Rochon- and everyone- who has worked within the Workforce Navigation program for their service.

Ray and Jennie are now at the Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families, 801 University Ave., Des Moines, (515)-280-1502.
