*Tuesday, April 3, 10, 17, and 24* *4:00 PM-8:00 PM* *Central Library*

High school students that attend Des Moines Public Schools can come to the Central Library for free homework assistance on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

The College Access Program (CAP) Tutoring Center meets in the library’s computer classroom on the second floor. This is a community collaboration between GEAR UP Iowa, Des Moines Public Schools, Des Moines Public Library, Central College, Simpson College, and Des Moines Area Community College.

By offering free tutoring to students, the program strives to provide the help they need to perform well in school. Volunteer tutors are current college students and retired educators. For more information call John Gilman, GEAR UP Iowa project coordinator at (877) 272-4456.* *
